Welcome to the Lorna Knight Sewing Academy where we take a new look at how to sew, whether you want to brush up your dressmaking skills or learn some exquisite couture techniques.
With a regularly updated programme of one-day and half day workshops you can learn new sewing techniques, develop your skills and find out how to create your own imaginative designs.
Our workshops take you through a whole range of techniques to bring your skills up to date. Whether you want to learn the basics like putting in zips and reading paper patterns or to be more adventurous and become skilled at tailoring or making lingerie there is a workshop to help. Each workshop is independent and you can choose one or a whole series in the areas of sewing you wish to develop.
Take a look at the workshops available in our present programme of events. If you can’t find a sewing workshop to fulfil your needs get in touch with Lorna who may be able to develop a new course or arrange one-to-one tuition.
We are the authorised dealer in Staffordshire for Brother and Baby Lock machines. If you are looking to buy a new sewing machine, embroidery machine or overlocker, come and talk to us first to make sure you get the model that is best for you.
